Rendering 4 seconds in Blender were the cruelest, due to the settings I used. Almost 3 hours wait. And my PC is not the fastest.
Is the first time I try the older version of Sims and animate them. It was a fun test.

    Neat! Wow, 3 hours!
From the condition that sofa's in I am guessing thier pos t party clean-up will run them a lot longer, huh? :D

What did you use to import the skns?
Did you have to rig them before animating or did the skeleton import properly?

Wow how awesome of you! I wasn't meaning to put you to all of that trouble, just wondering the name of the program or add-on you used. (I'd kept meaning to ask @Alessandro Needs A Server about that as well ) Some years ago I worked out a semi-convoluted method of converting skns to objs (using a program intended for something else) when I used Anim8or to make some ghost and a 'powered down' servo. (so he could join the TSO robots I'd made into TS1 statues LOL) a few years back and I figure there has got to be a more straightforward method. I was about to download MilkShape but would love to hear about other options.

Perhaps you could shave a bit of time off of your 3 hours by baking textures with shadows. Since your camera is stationary that might work out (for the non moving parts, of course). Not sure how much time that shaves off. It might just be one of those tiny finishing touches.

I can give you all the information you want now if is your wish.

The program is Milkshape 3D, this program is used for many things and is able to open.SKN
I do not believe you need any plug-in.

You will need I think ... a plugin, but I don't believe so... for Blender. I think you can go to preferences and make sure MS3D is checked.
Then you can import from Milkshape 3D to blender no issues.

Nobody told me about this programs... I had to by trial and error find them on my own and my many hours of research. I am not that smart to find things.

P.S. Baking primitives can save me time. I just like the fake non-realistic things.

    Ah, Thank you.

With the baking I meant was thinking mostly of baking the shadows so you can use different light settings (for faster rendering). It essentially pants the shadow onto your surface's texture instead of having to calculate it for each frame. There are a few youtube videos talking about it, but I don't have any bookmarked. It may be more trouble than it is worth, though, since I don't know really how much time it would ultimately save.

I like the cartoony, non realistic stuff better as well :D
Your colors really pop in this video. Good job.

Ty, Sims Online is an old game so I wanted to stay within the concept, of course, is my interpretation of how it would look.
I have done baking before and it takes a while for certain things, not all. I will try to do it soon on another project. I am rendering an animation today... It will take a few hours. Once is done I will post it.

After much going around Blender... The story is too long to even start... I did this video. I will be able to make longer videos I just need to work around my Blender cycle render's animation setting. Enjoy

    Love it! ♥ Good job!
And that needs to be put on an animated TV/movie screen!

  13. Hey, I loved the animation I think you should do more <3, I wondered how you did to extract the meshes and textures of the sims of the game? I would appreciate it if you told me how to do it or if you use a specific program
