[ARCHIVE] Final Checklist Discussion

Excited to hear the game is about to start its beta!
I have some questions:
1. Before January 6th, will there be another build? We can currently change our Sim Names, the pizza oven doesn't work always--- I assume bugs like that are going to be fixed before launch? (Thus we'd get a new build.)
2. Can we tell people that the beta is starting or do not want us too? I was going to post about it, but thought perhaps you didn't want too many people coming to play all at once.

Anyway, I'm happy this game was successfully brought back. Looking forward to January 6th.

Bugs is something that WILL happen... I am sure as the this game move forward after January 6th, we will see a better stable game. Open Beta also means trial and testing the current implemented features and if there is any bugs we will write it in the proper section, so developers can help us with it.

Not sure if you ever played The Sims Online, but that game was -- how should I say this politely... FLOODED with Bugs, here are only SOME of the pictures of the bugs which we had in most cases PERMANENT.

Oh, I know there will be bugs, I just thought at the very least, being able to change our name seemed like something you'd want fixed as well as the pizza oven, since it's one of the jobs. Rys commented in another thread saying many changes had been made so that answered my question that another build is coming that will fix a ton of stuff.

If its anything like the original TSO I dont think we will be able to change our names. You could have up to 3 different sims from the same account. None could be logged in at the same time though so if you feel you need to change your sim/name you could just make a new sim. But there is EODs that aren't added in yet. And probably wont be before release. And one of them could possibly be a way to change your sim name. But that was never a thing added into the original TSO/EA-Land.

If i remember well in EA Land u could change name but once done u had to wait 7 days for another change. In Open Beta will be one avatar per acct. But not written in stone.

Oh well oops. Haha. Can you give me a break? I mean it has been 8 years since it got shut down. I think I am allowed to miss-remember some things right???

I made myself a christmas gift and bought a notebook, so i will be able to play FreeSo.

I guess where I'm hung up is I don't really have "an account." Currently, I just start the game and I can have my Sim name be whatever I want. But, I'm sure it'll all be explained when the beta starts.

FreeSO Open Beta game will start January 6th 2016. (If all goes well). I personally don't have an account, i just have the lowest member account in this forum. Maybe like you. The game, people like us can play is the most simple and most basic that -- we are allowed. Nobody needs to create any account or register to play that game, all you need to do is add your name and use it with == limit stuff.

If you are referring that you cannot play the game, the one who will start January 6th 2016, we'll have to wait until then. And register when we are allowed. For now, we cannot do anything. Just wait.

To use the game they have now, like I said... no need to register.

What does that even mean?

It means I am not a current tester for the Development crew. I have no access to test or play the game for bugs on a more complete scene of the game.

That didn't meant, a better or worst in a scale sort to speak.

Random q.... Will there be mystic trees and sprinklers? That was like my favorite part of the end game

Sprinkles are functional but they require Parts that haven't been implemented in sense that you can get them (Salvaging), it's possible that one of the mods could sell the parts (since they'll have access to Debug Catalog afaik), and it would be nice to have a "Rares" store.

Mystic Trees will be in but I'm not sure if they'll be distributed.

i am wondering if we already have rare pets on the test server?
