Hi! I've been trying for a while to download the client for the sims online and it keeps stopping. Somehow my internet connection fails (even though I test on my browser, works fine, meanwhile the freeso launcher displays the message that there is no internet connection) when it comes back, the download won't resume. Then I restart my pc or close the client through the task manager and all the progress is lost. Does anyone have a solution for that?
The download should resume if its a short outage, but if your network goes down for a while it might timeout. Since you're most likely dealing with an unstable connection, I recommend you try downloading The Sims Online separately, using the following URL directly from your browser: https://archive.org/download/TheSimsOnline_201802/TSO.zip Once downloaded, you will need to extract it somewhere and run Setup.exe. When the installation is finished, close the setup and continue using the launcher to install FreeSO which is available in the Installer section. After that, you should be able to play.
