  1. I really have no clue what caused this, but here it is.
I have no technical knowledge whatsoever, but the multiple references to "Sound" and "Audio" tells me it must have something to do with... Sound. And Audio.
Though I have experienced audio issues with FreeSO, (Rather, a complete lack of audio.) I figured it would have no effect on gameplay at all and was willing to ignore it until this popped up.

If it will help, here's my system info:

    Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
    Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
    System Manufacturer: Alienware
    System Model: Alienware 17 R2
    BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/30/15 09:39:10 Ver: A01.00
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
    Memory: 8192MB RAM
Page File: 4118MB used, 12034MB available
    DirectX Version: DirectX 11

My speakers are Sound Blaster Recon3Di, drivers are fresh (1/16/2015) provider: CREATIVE
Settings: 24 bit, 48000 Hz, Front Left and Right speakers Activated. Surround Deactivated.

This is due to your system playing no audio for some wacky reason. No idea why.
  3. Oh. Darn. :(

Welcome to my world. Try one of the older builds before 300 and see if the sound still works. Apparently us Soundblaster user's are at a major loss here till a later build is released for a larger variety of soundcard support types. Probably in another 6 months or so.
