If anything this takes me back to when i tried to install the original tso, i had to retry so many times due to connection failures
I think I'm more excited about the fact that so many people want to play than I am upset about the fact that we'll have a delayed beta launch. If that makes any sense.
Its a shame this project exists for years now and I've never heard about it! The first time I heard about this was in November
They didnt anticipate such a demand, dont think many people were active on forums and such. I just found out a couple weeks ago when I was looking to see if there was a pizza video online to show a friend after one of my friends died that used to play TSO too
7k people tried registering? If that's the case we won't be playing for few days until they fork out about a grand for new hardware
same! I was afraid that there are like 30 online users, but it makes me happy to know there are more than 100 interested players I can't wait to explore the world! I got so many questions, waaaah
I remember when it was Project Dollhouse . After all these years it finally happens and people are so excited .
You've been a lurker like me then xD I was around back then too but I've never had anything to say, just watching in the shadows waiting
They said several thousand requests. I can tell you about 20 or 30 were me, attempting to register before I was successful. You might be over-exaggerating
hopefully people are telling their friends that they're playing FSO and there will be a BIG BOOM with like thousands of people from each country!
Perhaps it might be wise to try again tomorrow. Might not be the first through the gates, but it would hopefully be much smoother once the server is a little less clogged.
That's what they're doing. Replacing the equipment in order to handle the load. There is a floating message at the top of the registration screen that announces this. Rico
