    All-In-One Installer by JDrocks:
This useful tool made by xXJDrocks450Xx will do all these steps for you:

    Installing FreeSO:
    1.
Download The Sims Online from Here: http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/misc/tso/Setup The Sims Online.exe
2.Install it on Drive C(May cause problems on other hard drives)
3.Follow the installation steps, when it asks you for a CD Key cancel the installation
4.Download the latest FreeSO Dist here:http://servo.freeso.org/viewLog.html?buildTypeId=ProjectDollhouse_TsoClient&buildId=lastSuccessful&buildBranch=<default>&guest=1 (Click the Artifacts tab and then click on "dist-xxx.zip" to download the game)
5.Extract the Dist ZIP file with WinRAR, WinZIP or any other compression/decompression program on The Sims Online installation directory(Usually C:/Program Files/The Sims Online/TSOClient)
6.Extract the extra packing slips from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12239448/packingslips.rar to The Sims Online installation directory, into the existing packingslips directory.
7.If the game doesn't work, try downloading updated Graphics Drivers and OpenAL or connecting a sound device (speakers, headphones, etc.)

    Joining a server:
    1.
Look for servers on one of these pages(Or get the server IP/Address from the server owner):
1.Once you have the IP/Server address copied or written, open FreeSO.exe in your TSOClient folder in your TSO installation directory(Make sure the server uses the same dist/version as you)
    2.Open FreeSO.exe
3.Create your Sim/Avatar(No need to create it every time you launch the game, it will get saved)
    4.Click the "Search Icon"
    5.Type the server IP/Address here:
6.Now click on exact match and wait!

    Tips/Troubleshooting:
    1.
If while connecting to the server the bar gets stuck at 0%, maybe the server is closed or using a different version, also check if you wrote the address correctly
2.If it gets stuck at 25%, wait longer, try updating the version or restart the game
3.Not working? Try downloading updated Graphics Drivers and OpenAL or connecting a sound device (speakers, headphones, etc.)
4.If you don't have OpenGL the game may not work. You will need to create a shortcut to FreeSO.exe, right click on the shortcut, click "Properties" and add "-dx" after the target. Like this:

    Hope this guide helped! :D

THANK YOU!! I've been looking everywhere on a guide on where to input that IP address...who would've guessed to use the search bar normally used to connecting to Lots in the original game, not to the server as well lol

Im pretty sure we wont have to put in ip adresses once we are able to login the game instead of using the debug mode

If users have never installed Project Dollhouse before, they'll need to extract this into their TSO folder:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12239448/packingslips.rar

Eventually I'll clean up the install process, and all of this will be performed automatically and without touching the TSO game files. Right now though, you'll have to deal with it!

Do you extract the folder to the TSOClient folder or the data in the folder to the TSOClient folder.

It's actually pretty easy, instead of looking for the IP/Address, you need the IP of the other computer, or 127.0.0.1 to connect to yourself.
I'll update the topic soon with the instructions

no, the packingslips folder needs to overwrite the existing packingslips folder.

I've tried hosting locally already, didn't work! Opening the game and going to my Lot then opening another copy and trying to connect using 127.0.0.1 ...it just crashes. Yet connecting to other peoples servers that use website names in-place of the ip address seems to work fine. Perhaps I still need to port forward??
