I been having problems getting Simitone to work on Windows 7. Is there any way to fix it?

It's currently very picky in its pre-release state. You need to have the US version of The Sims Complete Collection and you need to load neighborhood 2 using the real Sims.exe

Do you have a screenshot of the error? You may need to also add something to a households inventory (the magic items are a good one) using the real Sims.exe and save the lot. Also try deleting Documents/Simitone.

No,how do I take screenshots? I'll give it another try later on and post the results.

I had done what you told me and it was loading fine up until the Arranging Wardrobes part which is where it crashed and threw me another fatal error message again. I'm expecting that it might be because of all the cc and mods that I had got loaded on it. Here's the screenshot.

I didn't think Simitone was reading that stuff yet, but that definitely looks like a GUID conflict. If you still want to give it a try, try replacing neighborhood 2's folder with a neighborhood you haven't played in yet (make sure to still open it with the real Sims.exe), delete Documents/Simitone, and if that still throws the same error, temporarily remove your mods.

So I had done all of that and had even gone as far as to remove all of the Skins and mods in the Downloads and Skins folder. Now it's throwing me an error about something about graphics which I don't understand as soon as I launch the program. Does this mean that I have to reinstall the game?

This is generally related to your GPU not supporting the necessary shader, but it can sometimes trigger when it can't get control of the GPU (may just need to reboot your computer). Do you play FreeSO and does it work? And if not do you know what GPU you have?

No it still doesn't work and the GPU is an Intel graphics card but the computer I was running it on is an Intel Pentium processor while my laptop is an older gen Intel i5 which I don't have Sims 1 installed on. I don't have any money or a job yet to earn enough to spend on a new computer with a better graphics card so I would to stick with what I got for now. I'll try rebooting the computer to find out that wherever or not it'll work better but I doubt that it'll do any good. Thanks for getting back to me.

I can't recall the exact restrictions, but an Intel HD Graphics 3000 or later will definitely work. A discreet GPU like from AMD or Nvidia can be older and usually supports what's needed. Intel's early attempts at integrated graphics were rough.
