I just downloaded the game and started to play and I can't get into any business or anything like that, it tells me that I need a job, I am a little bit lost, I used to play this game 16 yrs ago all the time, but today is my first day here and I need to know if I have to download anything else than the exe file. Please let me know
    Thank you

The full game is not ready to be played yet. The version you are playing is a "sandbox" version for building and experimenting. You can also use that version to log in to freeso.ml and chat with anyone else who may be hanging out there. The freeso.ml lot was built up to look like a little neighborhood and they very generously let people become roommates there which allows you more interactions with the objects than just visiting You can learn more about that here

Some other people put their lots online as well but those are not available 24 hours per day. As I understand it they go to the Official FreeSO Discord Server and announce when they are opening their lots

Thank you, I also have a question, how do I download the other part of the game where I can go in alone build several houses and post them here in the blog? I used to build them before and I was so good doing it, want to get back to build stuff lol. Let me know please and thank you

That is the same game that you already have.

    To get started click empty_lot.xml
Click the "Save House" button in then upper right hand corner. Your lot has now been saved as house_00.xml
You can build to your heart's content (in live mode click the ground to "Request Funds". Some obscure, special, and broken objects wont be in buymode. but You can still play around with them if you go to build mode's terrain tool. SAVE first. some of the things in there are not meant to be purchased. At least I assume the latest build still has them in the terrain tool. I'm actually still one release behind)

When you are finished and want to build your next house you have to leave the game, go to the housedata\blueprints folder and make a copy of house_00.xml and change the file name. I keep "house_00" at the start of the file name so they always group together in the list.

the reason for this is because the "Save House" button always saves over the house_00.xml file so you'd lose your first house if you did not do this.
Now that your first house is copied and renamed you'll notice it shows up on the XML list the next time you play and you can pop in and mess around. Just remember that if you "Save House" it'll be saved as house_00.xml and not over the xml file you loaded in.

Great thank you, I'll try that... I went to Freeso.ml and it doesn't go in that file, do you have any idea why or if I am missing something?

Hmm, I don't know what you mean by "it doesn't go in that file"

The system tries to go to that lot, the Freeso.ml, but then it says "Connection Terminated" Lost Server connection. Possible causes your client may have erroneously disconnected or the server may have crashed (Error Code 0)

I can help you with this. I believe FreeSO.ml is closed as Sim, the creator of the server, has gone on to host a public beta of Global Server FreeSO which you can download and register with my installer linked here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k7cdszm4ppezccm/FreeSO Installer Public Beta.zip?dl=0
