I'll just start from square one to make sure.
How about making a tutorial how to create a server via VPN. Just in case if someone cannot portfoward ports for some reason.
I'll look into it
can someone at least make a guide for evolve?
okay so i've built a house, but when i click save house, it crashes. and also can someone test this server? simsmoviegirl.no-ip.org
You may need to run the game as an administrator to save your house, as it currently saves to your The Sims Online directory in Program Files.
Just got back home, gonna try to search this address hopefully I can get in!
I got things started with the creation of my own server.
However, I am stuck on the 6th step.
After you completed the first 5 steps, you're already a host the moment you enter your lot. The last two steps are optional. Step 6 is for advanced users and not recommended. Step 7, however, is highly recommended - as long as you don't flood the chat room.
So when I load up the game I can just select a random lot from the right hand side, load in--I become the host there and then post my server info?
I'm stoked bruh!
Hey i've got a new ip: simsmoviegirl.ddns.net
how do i run the server? like which xml file?
I'm on the way to yours
i'm actually on my way to bed. i'll open it tomorrow.
okay so i've had a friend try to connect to my server and it won't connect... i cannot portforward with portmapper, so could anyone pleeeeaaase make an evolve tutorial dangit?
Charvatia is a SimAntics version of the client, which you DON'T need. The original exe that comes with FreeSO (FreeSO.exe) works fine in regards to server hosting.
Uhm well, I use Charvatia for an 24/7 server. Ohter people can connect but i can't? I use 'localhost' and it's stuck at 0
try localhost: port or 127.0.0.1: port
Fries that too but still doesn't work ;o
Separate names with a comma.
