I have noticed that our sims don't show up in city view but I think that was already stated in an earlier comment by Afr0.

and PS: it seems like the server is down, I can't login anymore.

Yeah, those Intel's graphics tend to be hit or miss. As a former MacBook first gen user, I have experience.
  5. If I move the Sim to place (for debug) it is normal.

When will you open the servers back up?

Later today, the Login server started crashing with the latest client update.

Another thing I noticed is that if you deselect edge-scrolling, it does not disable it.

Did anything go wrong while updating?

Gabriel_L_Ferraz: I figured out that if you got to the scene inspector in debug in the CAS, pick the first SimScene, pick SimRender, then change the first position section to 1 under Element World, the bug over the sim goes away without having to move the sim around the UI, seems as though some sim shadow is besing casted over the UISim in the CAS, weird.........

When I get to the City view, I see the message board pop up along with 2 other messages on the side. However, since the city view is so laggy, I can't click on anything or read the other messages. Not sure if this has something to do with my computer or not.

It seems that double clicking to select your sim attempts to load the city twice and crashes the client. Maybe this should be restricted?

Yeah, this bug has already been registered.
  15. It Worked! It's like having a "shadow" on top.

It's not a shadow: the depth buffer isn't cleared between renders so the sim renders "under" the other one, but the other one has already been covered by the CAS UI so where the other sim should appear is now covered by the UI.

We should probably merge with the gameplay r&d branch before changing how the sim scenes work... I've checked it out and it looks like the scenes (or at least the elements) have a lot more work put into them.

I noticed that the name / title of the city is not mentioned when the view of the map, it'll be added to the next version ?

I can do that tonight, along with fixing the volume and any other horizontal sliders (already finished this).

Looks like we need to sort out the merge stuff first... Horizontal sliders and volume are in though. I'll add the city name and the city pricing tooltips in when everything has settled down.

Better that you take your time for it is the least possible of bug and problem.
