well great, guess we won't get to play around with that feature for another week or so while the team fixes it :( in any case go Team Dollhouse, and thank you for all the effort!:D

I just wonder when the scrolling will be fixed...

We're not fighting, just trying to understand what's going on. :)
I might try and look into the scrolling, but unless it doesn't work for me, I think you'd better wait for Rhys for this one, because I didn't write (or look at, for that matter), the code. And graphics isn't my strong suit. But if it doesn't work for me, I can try to debug it.

I can move the default scroll position to the sim so that people can see if the game has crashed (sim won't move), but I won't be able to do it until I complete HIT in some form.

I got my Sim to appear!, after clicking Simantics & Lot Debug I clicked on the "Debug" button located above the "Simantics" button(At the upper right side of the screen) you will then notice this new options window that pops up called "Scene inspector" that lets you control certain parts of the camera I set the zoom setting to "medium" and was able to see my Sim standing doing an idle animatioN! (I was thinking of using that to see if could actually move the camera by using the X and Y axis controls, not sure if it works yet). NOW everyone go to the "scene inspector" window and set the zoom to medium or far and you can your Sim moving at the lower right ride of the screen, i'm going to play around with it and see what else I can get to show up :D

Are you guys definitely trying edge scrolling at the left and bottom parts of the screen? If that's not working, do the buttons work correctly in the city selector etc ui? (like are their positions correct)

Yes edge scrolling is working fine when I login to the city view! Its just not working at the "Simantics & Lot Debug" section. On the bright side I was able to click on the "Debug" button once I got into the Lot View and simply used the pop up window option named "scene inpector" and was able to click on the zoom options and set it to "medium" and see my Sim! Heck I can even use the Rotation options in that window and it actually rotates the camera view, but crashes if I try to use the UI buttons in the lower left screen to do so! All that remains still is the major problem where none of the objects show up like in the video that one user posted earlier in this topic JUST THE SIM! >.<

Yes ... trying to scroll at the edge and nothing happens ... but all the buttons are active, they don't all work but they light up when you click them but I clicked the mail button and tso stopped working. Crash and burn

You guys, We may not be able to scroll around the screen for now but I did manage to figure out how to play around with a Sim positioned in the middle of the screen at least while we wait for an update. CHECK IT OUT! http://forum.afr0games.com/index.php?threads/broken-simantics-lot-debut-temporary-workaround.229/

Purpose of PDBootstrap is to copy the updater into the TSOPatch folder if there's a new version in the TSOClient folder. I think the reason it has a tendency to keep crashing is because Windows likes to assume the startup path of the app is wherever it is launched from (I.E desktop).
I still need to look into that.

Just released a new update (now up to version 0.1.16!), which should hopefully make the updater more stable.
For those of you unable to run the updater, the new version of the updater is here.

I applied the update and now my Simantics & Lot Debug aren't scrolling or showing any objects again, It still works if I apply RHY's Debug files over my TSOclient folder again though.

I'm still getting TSO has stopped working when trying to get into the simantics and lot debug

Again, what does that mean? Is there some code you didn't commit?

    Either:

    - You haven't copied all of the relevant files over the previous version
    - You haven't included certain files in the update
    - You're not compiling all of it. (we use tso.client.sln now! also make sure you're using mixed platforms)
    - git fucked up and didn't include some of the code changes for whatever reason

Ok, I do not have a tso.client.snl file anywhere where do i get that? and I don't know what you mean when you say mixed platforms...sorry :(
