I can go to choose a city and goes to create a sim screen and create, but when I confirm nothing happens.

And by the way Afr0 thank you for doing this. Also, is there a specific username and password I should be using?

No, use any combination, just don't create more than one account!

Crashing on Login.....Would someone PLEASE kindly repost links to the current PD client and patcher i'm supposed to be using? This has gotten so confusing with peoples various posts to links on "patcher fixes" sp I dunno which one to use anymore.

Hi guys, Still seem to be having the "Cannot create the avatar" bug. I downloaded from the link Offredo posted above, the game no longer crashes, but it still hangs on the screen, even clicking Accept doesn't do anything like the Cancel option. Exiting the game, deleting the CharacterCache, and then logging back in, won't show any characters. (Since it never created it because the game didn't go into the loading zone.)

I simply need to un-install and re-install TSO

It's the best thing i do,i always hold onto the re-installation files incase i may have to re-install. So that's always the best solution for me. Then i use the updater to get to latest. And if something goes wrong,i just go on the forums to find a possible user made fix. For example like offredo does.

Still haven't had time to look into these issues, but I can confirm that the city server is still connected to the login server two days after I restarted it. That should hopefully mean that I've finally been able to fix the synchronization issues and it will stay connected! :D

I have tried to get the new update and I am being told when I go to the link that it is no longer available. Could anyone tell me where I need to go to update my client. Thanks

you need to run PDBootstrap, not the Patcher, it's currently buggy.

It will, the servers are still undergoing maintenance.

Ah, thanks for confirming that, then, SodaDog!
Yes, the servers are now up and the city server is more stable than ever! :D
But they will go sort of off and on until I can fix everything completely.
