Hey whats up. New to the forums but I have been following this project for awhile. First off, let me say great job and thank you for bringing this game back to its former glory ( even though its not there yet). I'm excited to see that the city server is up and running (When the lots become purchasable, I'm calling dibs on one of the few snow lots XD). Anyways I noticed a few people had problems with the latest release and I wanted to share what fixed mine. My updater kept crashing similar to a lot of people on this forum. What fixed it for me was to install project dollhouse in program files(x86) instead of the regular program files, which seems to be the default path for this installer. I'm not sure if this fix has already been posted or is even relevant but this cleared up all of the crashes/problems that I was facing.

Maybe you can pay someone to build one for you lol

Hi and welcome to the Forum - I was told by Afr0 that we should NOT place the files in the x86 folder - it is meant to be in the Regular Program Files folder

If it means anything, both PDBootstrap and Project Dollhouse Client are set to admin for me.

I updated the installer on Github now. It no longer includes BASS.net and should have the latest version of PDBootstrapper (which asks for admin permissions when starting up)-

Afro can you please upload the lastest installer or it is not ready yet??? Also i can use every time pdpatcher or need to be redownloaded to the latest one?

You don't use PDPatcher, you simply run the bootstrapper from your desktop.

Guys, I ran bootstrapper and it keeps freezing on this file and the client won't open :/

A:I fell for this too,So i re-installed TSO,Used the lastest PD installer (https://github.com/Afr0/Project-Dollhouse/releases). And then we also nee to run the PDBoostrap.exe and Project Dollhouse Client.exe as administrator. But of course you need to run PDBootstrap first. So give that a go and see how it goes.
