ZeroNet A P2P internetDescribed as being "completely unhackable", ZeroNet is a step towards (what I think is) the future. What is it? ZeroNet is a peer-to-peer internet service - which means that there's no server involved, just clients. On top of that, ZeroNet uses Bitcoin wallet addresses to point to websites making it pretty damn safe. What's on the ZeroNet? From 0chan (fking no pls) to my new blog, there's fun for all the family! Features Real-time updated sites Namecoin .bit domains support Easy to setup: unpack & run Clone websites in one click Password-less BIP32 based authorization: Your account is protected by same cryptography as your Bitcoin wallet Built-in SQL server with P2P data synchronization: Allows easier site development and faster page load times Anonymity: Full Tor network support with .onion hidden services instead of ipv4 addresses TLS encrypted connections Automatic, uPnP port opening Plugin for multiuser (openproxy) support Works with any browser/OS How it works When you connect to a site over ZeroNet, it will be downloaded onto your computer and update at a set interval. This will then be mirrored for other people to connect to. When you visit a new zeronet site, it tries to find peers using the BitTorrent network so it can download the site files from them. Where you can get it GitHub | Website P.S. My ZeroID is ass@zeroid.bit
I turned bwoi.bit into a Google-like search engine: 99-ish peers, holy crap! That's almost as many as ZeroNet's default Hello page!
