No, they won't. If they started charging monthly to access it, EA would likely take them to court. This will ALWAYS remain free, but they should definitely accept donations.

Seven thousand people tried Registering... This is going to last a long, long, LONG time.

7k people tried registering? If that's the case we won't be playing for few days until they fork out about a grand for new hardware

Their server cannot handle the load. So it's either they put a queue in, have people register 1 by 1 or replace their current hardware. Replacing hardware can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks.

Will I be able to log into the GS server if I have rev. 409? I've seen people with Rev. 416, so I'm just making sure.

Will we be able to log into the game with Rev. 409? Just downloaded the GS Installer, but I've seen people saying they have Rev. 416... Installer only installs 409 :l

Remember way back when TSO was still alive, you could download those clothing mods that would change the clothing into actually quite gorgeous clothing from the trunks? They had a naked option I believe ;)

I see, it's nice to know that the object limit will be raised! Also, when the game goes live, please be sure to setup a donation fund. For many of us TSO was our first online experience, and I'd absolutely donate monthly in upwards of $40 or more per month to keep everything running smooth!
