While growing up I was raised on the idea that if I did good I would be rewarded. My first reward was "The Sims Double Deluxe" and I fell in love with it. Ever since then every single time I was owed a reward I had asked for the new expansion packs (I.E. Hot Date, Superstar, Vacation, Unleashed, Making Magic, Living large, etc.) and got for my 8th birthday the Sims Complete Collection (10 years ago to be precise). I was never aware that there was another game by the sims (The Sims Online) and I was far too young to be playing online socializing with strangers on a social game, so I inevitably missed my chance to enjoy the amazing online portion of the sims 1. Years passed and I followed the series through and through even went and bought every single expansion and stuff pack (even the foreign country stuff packs that weren't available in certain places) and I had stopped at the Sims 4. Having anticipated Multiplayer capabilities in The Sims 4 (like the Sims online rebooted on a new engine) I was thrilled and heavily expectant of this game but was incredibly let down with the focused single player only mode and the constant Death by laughter that they sold us on. The game had gone to the dogs and completely monetized by EA.
Now I am captivated by the astounding work by the people on the forums and on other pages worldwide to reimagine the Original Sims Online and the awestriking progress being made in such short time. I intend to join in for the first time ever, in the community and I simply cannot wait to meet each and every one of you.
