Not really, no. The only true 3D objects in game are sims/pets (and a few other things?). Everything else is 2D in game. That's why there's only 4 rotational views and restricted zooming.

No, there's certain mods like CEP and some lighting mods and Scriptorium that you have to install manually.

You can register as a "Developer" on Windows Phone and sideload up to 5 apps, I think. You could just do that. Probably applies to Windows RT too.

Yeah. The minimum specs should be bumped up to at least a Core 2 Duo and 4GB of memory. I feel sorry for anyone still using a Pentium 4 for anything. Lol.

Nope, Sims 3 includes it, the only thing they can't do is "Try for Baby" which makes sense.. 2 might too? But yeah, I agree.
