I honestly don't know, you could just try continuing past create-a-sim and mess with the graphics settings and see if that fixes it.

I'm not sure sorry, either try another reinstall or make a topic/thread about it. You could try deleting the openal32.dll file in 'The Sims Online' folder, might fix it. Also that installation is complete message is right, it's a very quick install. I think it works but it's really buggy, ask...

I'm pretty sure they're part of TSO not FreeSO, so if you don't have them you haven't installed the game correctly.

Yours looks like this in the same location? In create-a-sim your sim is invisible?
