I can login but I can't update?

Everything downloaded smoothly and I am running my game as an admin but when I try to sign in I am met with an error when I am trying to update. Now I do not get a message that I have the incorrect credentials, that goes through fine I am just met with this message when I try to update.

I'm also having this exact issue.

EDIT: I fixed it by running the program as an administrator.

Run FreeSO as administrator ALWAYS when you want to download, receive and install an update.
You can change the compatibility settings on your FreeSO shortcut if you want to make it easier
