Not Responding

Hello,

Currently troubleshooting my application. I'm able to start up and play sandbox mode just fine. When I go to create a sim, I'll run for about a minute and then end up freezing and getting the not responding screen. This is before I ever make it in to the city.

Any advice?

System specs:
HP 15 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3540 @2.16Ghz
Installed RAM: 4 GB, 3.89 GB usable
Type: 64bit OS, x64 processor

Thanks,
Sean

Try with DirectX mode for laptops with low specifications:

If you are using the launcher, it's in the settings page ("Graphics Mode"). Choose DirectX and restart the game.
OR
If you are not using the launcher:
To put FreeSO in DirectX Mode: Right click FreeSO Shortcut, Properties, and add -dx to the "Target Field" like this:
Make sure to add quotes before and after the path, for example:
"C:\Program Files\FreeSO\FreeSO.exe" -dx
or don't add them at all: C:\Program Files\FreeSO\FreeSO.exe -dx

Becky,
Thanks. My dialog box is configured a little differently. Any idea how to make the modifications without the shortcut option?
