Resetting my TS1 neighborhood

I've completely destroyed my neighborhoods by torching the Goths, Newbies etc and I'd sorta like to bring them back from the dead :p
Anyone know a (relatively) quick way of resetting one of the neighborhoods in The Sims Complete Collection? It's odd, if I were to uninstall the game and delete all the game files in my C drive, and then reinstall, the old neighborhoods will still be present (I've tried it before). It seems TS1 stores some 'hidden' data on your PC?
I could factory reset but to go through all of that for a neighborhood reset naaah.

There are 9 neighbourhoods, so one of those ought to be a clean slate. You can copy the userdata for other neighbourhoods over each other i thonk.

You can do what Rhys said, or you can let it reset by yourself, just delete Neighborhood.iff file and change back to that neighborhood, game will create the userdata families by using the templates...

I really like the Goth's and they're only present in the first neighborhood (and they're long gone in my game) so I'd sorta be copying my unwanted neighborhoods over

Deleting Neighborhood.iff has just deleted all the sims in the neighborhood

it should renable all the families, if youre using sims unleashed or higher... it shoudl show again the load downtown, vacations, townies, etc loading bars...

Ok i think the problem are files that should be added at UserData/Patch, do this way, delete neighborhood.iff, copy files from "TemplatefamiliUnleashed" to "UserData/Patch", and after reload neighborhood, check if those families where regenerated, for the houses use "TemplateCommunity"

To return to negihborhood (the default from unleashed), you can do this, follow all steps:
-Close game
-Delete userdata/characters all files
-Delete userdata/export
-Enter in game switch to neighborhood, let all screens load and enter any house, let other screens load
-Put this file folder in Userdata (neighborhood 1 only) for import method:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wa4jkocmrje32pw/Import.rar?dl=0
-Go to the neighborhood (any number) and use import family
-Copy houses from templates (community) in Userdata/houses

I just have done that and worked great...

Y'know what, reinstalling the game actually did the trick! Not sure why it didn't work the first time around. Thanks for the help though Francot :3
Yes, but you need to learn how game works, becuase that will avoid you need of reinstall each time you broke your negihborhood... link is not dead just copy/paste in url adress bar..
