I'm not terribly technical, I wouldn't even know how to do that... I thought PortMapper was all set up. Unless someone can troubleshoot it with me, I might not have a server. I was worried it wouldn't work. :( EDIT: Do I have to mess with my router settings at all?

Yep, I followed instructions, I thought everything was working, but it isn't. I really wanted to play too. My guess is there is some problem with portmapper, but everything points to it working.

Alright folks, sorry I'm a little late. To my knowledge, the server is live, (as of 2:06 PM MT) and I'm on the empty lot! Hope this works.

@Noeltarifi There is a guide on creating your own server in this forum topic. It's not too complicated, but you have to read the instructions carefully. Sorry I missed your comment on my other thread, see that thread for when I'll have my server open.

Alright, I'm going to open the server on Saturday, The 16th, at 2PM MST. Now, I've never done this before, so, hopefully it'll work. If we get around 3 to 4 people, I'll leave the server open for an hour or so. See you saturday!

@Noeltarifi I hope FreeTime can assist you in getting the game working! As to the recent discussion about how to notify players about server openings, I say we use Twitter unless another, better alternative comes along.

Yes, I didn't even think of that! Chrome just began rolling out that feature, desktop notifications. So, if you have chrome and twitter, (and we used it to notify about servers) people could be notified instantly.
