New Server: simsredux!

Hey all! I *think* I created my own server, using portmaper and NOIP.
The hostname is simsredux.ddns.net
Not quite sure exactly what to do next--- I wanted to play on a resturant lot, but it seem to be locked because my sim is not a waiter?

Anyway, as far as I know, my server is live. I'm just on the empty lot as of now. Come join me.

Server is live as of 8:45 PM, Arizona Time.

EDIT: Hosting a server was more complicated that I thought, and I do not understand how to have my router "open" or whatever. So, this Server is no longer active.

hey! would like to test it once you open it again, in fact I was wanting to try it since a couple of months ago but then I forgot and never had the chance.. Anyways maybe tomorrow :D

Me too. If you warn people a couple of hours before you start the server, when people are on their daily/weekly rounds through the forum they'll notice your server and set a reminder for later.

Yes, I was hoping for people to come across it. I was caught up in it.
I'll schedule a test soon. I'm not sure what a good day is. Is the weekend better for people?
 
Great, so I'm in if you decide to do it for the weekend, just put the date and I'll be there
 
Alright, I'm going to open the server on Saturday, The 16th, at 2PM MST.
Now, I've never done this before, so, hopefully it'll work.
If we get around 3 to 4 people, I'll leave the server open for an hour or so.

I am gonna try to attend @daleylife server opening. For anyone living in the US I've converted the time from MST to GMT -5:00 which is 4:00 Pm.
Can't wait to play Sims Online again!

Alright folks, sorry I'm a little late.
To my knowledge, the server is live, (as of 2:06 PM MT) and I'm on the empty lot!
Hope this works.
