Any Chance the Game Will be Browser-Based?

I know this is a long shot and I am just curious, because my laptop recently fried and I borrow a school computer in the meantime. I am aware the game is far from full development, but I was hoping and wondering if in the mere future it would possibly be compatible to play on the web browser. I am far from a computer genius and hope this isn't a ridiculous suggestion. I am just antsy to play!
 
Unfortunately, due to the 1.5GB of content and the fact that we can't legally distribute the content ourselves makes it rather difficult to run in a browser. There's also not an HTML5 target for C# + Monogame, so a lot of the code would have to be rewritten.

Oh, I see... that is unfortunate. I wish there was some way... I am new to this forum and like I said, I am an idiot when it comes to computers. Is the download compatible with a MAC? I know it was originally made for PC and of course I only have access to a MAC.

So use Bootcamp. Google it if you don't know what is it.

I read about it before! Hopefully I'll get a new computer soon. My boyfriend hates when I download and play games on his air and I obviously can't do much on a school computer. For now, I must be patient. Thanks for the advice though!
 
Why shouldn't you be able to boot Linux from USB on a Mac?! It's just another computer.

It's not necessary to use BootCamp and install Windows or Linux since FSO is able to run on OS X when you have MonoGame installed.
