Apologies

Things are going a bit slow on the development front right now. Maybe it would be natural to assume that summer would mean more development time, but I know that Rhys has a job, and while I don't have a job per say, I'm working on illustrations and a synopsis for my novel (as well as working on the followup).
We're still working on the project though, I believe Rhys is working on the Monogame port and I'm still working on encryption.

Take your time, guys. Testing it is still just as enjoyable as the original finished project was and this new re-implantation will be.

No need to apologise. Nobody's asking you to do this for us, so for that I'd expect that we're all very grateful. I hope your novel does well, Afr0 and I hope your job goes well, Rhys!

We'll be waiting for as long as we need to! I'll never forget about this project either. I've been around in 2009,10, maybe 11 and 12. I don't know,But i was thinking as playing some sim games like TS3,2? (Or even any for the sake of the Sims) "This is too fun! I wish that there was a multiplayer sims game that actually lets you connect to other players in realtime." Not exact quote,But even the connect to other players in realtime part was part of what i said then. Until i found out,I never knew back in 2002. And im willing to wait,And do whatever it takes for The Sims Online to come back. <33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

Yeah as above poster said , no need to apologise. Im not expecting anything from you guys that would be out of your convenience. Heck, you could seize the project altogether and i would completely understand

Buuuut that doesn't mean updates aren't desired ;)

My jimmies would be rustled.

I started working more on encryption yesterday after returning from holiday. I've nailed it down to a specific packet, but I haven't a clue why encryption doesn't seem to work on it.
As Rhys pointed out in another thread, it becomes less than encouraging to work on a problem when you haven't found the cause after hours and hours of investigation. But I'm not giving up!

Best of luck, Afr0. Don't give up now, soon you'll be saying, "Oh! How could I miss this!". It always happens. ;)
I'm sure you'll find it, just give it time and think it through.
