So as you know there are 7 expansion packs for the legendary game The Sims. Which one is the best and the worst?
In my opinion:
The best one is Unleashed. This pack is my favorite because of the pets and the Old Town.
The worst one is Livin' Large, since it doesn't bring so much into the game. I only like the experiment table and the genie lamp.
Whats yours?

I liked Hot Date, mostly because it's forever changed relationships in the Sims series. It created a long term relationship meter in addition to the short term, which made it way easier to retain friendships. I used to start families in a version without Hot Date installed and max out their short term relationship. Then with their 16 friends, I'd install Hot Date, and it would update their friendships with a maxed out long term relationship bar. Done, never had to invite those schmucks over again. :)

It was also the first opportunity to go visit the town with your sim, rather than just existing at home—an inextricable element to The Sims Franchise to this day.

I really never lliked Makin' Magic or any magical/supernatural related elements in The Sims (Apartment Life magic/witches/vampire elements, or Sims 3 Supernatual, etc.) I think they made these expansions well, but I personally don't feel that they fit the milieu of The Sims that I fell in love with as youngster.

I thought Unleashed and MM were the best in temrs of getting new content. If I were able to only get two EPs, these would be my picks.

And for the worst, anything before Hot Date, for the lack of pretty much anything big or new.

From TS1:
Best: Makin'n Magic, I mean, MAGIC!
Worst: Livin' Large since it doesn't add much xp

Whole series:
Best: Open for Busines <3
Worst: KATY PERRY SWEET TREATS,
like what the hell was wrong with the devs when they made that pack, were they all on drugs or something?

Sims Unleashed was my first expansion pack when i was a kid. i thought you could play as the pets. but i had a pretty fun time with the expansion pack. the pets were adorable. and the bigger neighborhood was amazing :).
But Makin Magic was my favorite in the Sims 1.

Best: Superstar. Second: Vacation. Third: Unleashed. Makin' Magic is up there but I've never really exploited it's features to its full potential.
Worst: Livin' Large. In retrospective, it was pretty much the equivalent to a stuff pack. However, it did introduce a lot of memorable characters.
