after a apply for job via computer, my current job title still show that i'm unemployed, and i can't use phone to call a car to pick my up to work

There is no EOD's (server interfacing plugins for the UI) currently but will hopefully be implemented soon.
EOD's add functionality over all of the Sims 1's interfaces (From my understanding and knowlege).
Also the newspaper each day changes to a different job opportunity each time.

the nightclub job is not working yet, I got the same bug

Currently only the Diner and Robot Factory jobs work. If you chose anything else, it will appear as "unemployed" and you can't go to work there.
