Hi. I am new and can't get the game to open to the create a sim page. I've followed instructions on 1 thread that talked about going to a link and getting the dist.xxx. files and extracting which I went to and didn't see that file just client and server. Another posted about changing compatibility. If someone would be kind enough to get me walked through, I would be very happy. Thank you

You received that error simply because you didn't run FreeSO as administrator, to stop this from happening again you can create a new shortcut and make that always run as administrator in the compatibility tab. (Properties from right-clicking the shortcut)
