Can't run FreeSO on VM

Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to run an FreeSO server on VPS machine for my little polish community. I bought a cheap VPS service with Linux. After that I installed an Windows XP on VirtualBox virtual machine with every stuff needed to run FreeSO. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work without graphic card with at least 3D support! This situation is pretty unusual because both The Sims 1 and unmodified client of The Sims Online work without any problem on VM. Of course I tried to install VirtualBox add-ons but when I enabled 3D virtualization machine just crashed :( .
Here's screenshot of error that I've got.

Do you have any sort of graphics acceleration going to the Guest OS? If not, try turning it on in the VM's options. I've not used VirtualBox for a while so I don't know exactly how it's done but IIRC it's in the graphics tab :)
EDIT: didn't read the post fully. If you can't get 3D acceleration working, you can't open the client basically since it requires a modern graphics card to run. If you want to set up a server with VPS I recommend using Charvatia (there is no alternative yet), but it's quite unstable and not very user-friendly. I recommend waiting until a more stable solution has evolved.

Charvatia is the only version of the server that supports running without gfx and on Mono + linux. It's not quite ready for extensive use yet, as the directories for game files and blueprints have to be manually input.
