Default Text To Speech voices?

On my old laptop, I only had two voices on my system, so it would make male sims use the male version and female sims use the female one. But on the new one I have now, it makes every sim use the same female voice with a British accent regardless of their gender. Is there a way I can change this? I've tried changing the default voice on my system but to no avail. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

FreeSO attempts to choose the correct voice based on gender using the .NET functions for selecting voice via Gender flags. If it's not working, that might indicate your male TTS voice is somehow disabled or incompatible with FreeSO. I've heard somewhere that some voices may be built for x64 instead of x86 - FreeSO is currently built for x86 so it might miss the ones built for x64.
