Give us an option where to sit?
I think when our sim took a book to read or a meal to eat, we should be able to assign them where WE want them to eat.
Travel with pets?
I want to travel with pets and have visitors bring their own to my build dog park. Animal haters could put a assign that declines access to dogs/cats to their lot (if somebody tries to come, player only with the sim arrive while the cat/dog/pets travel back home.

Hmm.. I wonder how hard it would be to do the "assign" thing.. It would be cool, and add more control to the game. The pet idea would require the animal to attach to your sim/profile when you went to diff lots somehow.. It could get chaotic on lots with 20 sims and 20 pets, and I'm guessing that would require a ton of work to code in. But who knows lol..
