How do you fail to save code with visual studio? I'm pretty sure it backs up 20 times and saves on every compile, either that or I just press CTRL-S a lot.

Like I said, I saved it to an obscure location (my messy desktop) and therefore missed it when I was backing up files. And yes, I press CTRL+S every line or so anyways, so it's not like that's the cause of it.
