'Failed To Install The Sims Online' Due to not having a stable Internet connection?

Hey guys, I was re-installing tso today and I got an error saying that the download had failed due to not having a stable internet connection. I think this is absolute nonsense. I had checked my internet before downloading any software, my Wi-Fi is totally fine, I have a very strong connection and full bars. Make sure that your computer does not go to sleep or else it could mess with the installation. It can be your unstable internet if it is unstable
 
I get the same error message as well..... each time I try. It will download 14 files and that is it.

Maybe try and clean out your temp folders in AppData. You could also uninstall the launcher and reinstall it again.
