Fond TSO moments.

Do you have some memories of the game? Share them here! I'll kick the thread off!

When I was a young lad, I didn't have a clue what to do, so when I married this woman on TSO (just me being me!), I didn't understand the full implications of that, anyway I deleted my character, and met with these 2 other people (I had known from before the "marriage"). So I lied ( I was a kid, a weird one, as once I dressed up as Santa in TSO and convinced people I was, but that's a story for another time) and told them she took all my money and the house we moved in together.

I reckon I broke that fake relationship, and ruined my "wife's" heart. I wonder the consequences of my actions as a child, I really do. I reckon the girl/guy (can't be too sure on the Internet), was devastated, that's my story, what about yours?
 
Well there is way to many to list so I'll just rant. Seeing as I was in 5th grade when the Beta was released I didn't know "the point". By December I've made friends and realized what TSO was all about. I was introduced to my best friend SSMITH in February 2003 helping out with with her money lot "Boo's Hideaway" of Blazing Falls. As TSO's population grew as did the server lock outs from reaching max population. I moved to Calvin's Creek and begin mingling those of Creek Radio. Due to my dail-up connection I wasn't able to become a DJ. Switching in and out between CC and BF I met my TSO wife StaceyLynn getting married around April 2003. Opened a nightspot called Club Evolution.
Once the club scene died out we started playing on our sims from AV. Which is where I met my sister "Ashley" who was able to get my a DJ job at Fire and Ice Radio. They were based in TSO and Second Life, which is how I got into SL. Things kinda went down the hill for a little bit shortly after. My TSO wife stopped playing and Fire and Ice closed down. Which left me with SS and Ashely to play with (Sorry if I forget you're names was too long ago :cry: ) Starting to play my sim on Joly Pines is where a DJ from Fire and Ice use to play "Spanky" who opened up Pure Passion Radio. Which is when I started playing There.com but wasn't the biggest fan (except I LOVED voice chat).
Pretty much for a while it was just doing money transfers and hanging out in AV. This was around when WoW first came out so I would always leave an instance of TSO running just to see if anyone was on. After getting it out of my system all I did was hangout with SS at our store in AV "ThunderLightingPrices". Playing in EJ for a little but ending "TSO" in Interhogan at "FriendshipMoneyHouse". This was my favorite house after a while. I miss playing with Addi, Have, SS, and Greenbeen (RIP :() Once EA-Land hit I didn't do much on it. Would stay up AFK at my store and hangout in SL with SS.
My personal opinion EA-Land sucked. TSO was more fun when it was neglected for years. The controlled (Socialist structure) of EA-L was pathetic. Thank you for reading :)

Man, you sounded like you had an amazing time, perhaps we could meet in TSO when it comes out? I remember once joining a skilling house, which has awesome and hilarious at the same time. I had fond memories from that, as well as getting my first job as a Mechanic, then becoming a free-lance actor on the TSO Scence, I'm Hoping to become a free-lance actor again.
 
Surely! Plan on running a money or skill house I'm sure you'll see me. I'm in Second Life in the mean time. Look me up I'm always on lol

I'm really looking forward to this project.

I miss DJing! ShoutCAST changed the backbone server so no more local servers. The internet was generally just a better place back then lol
