FreeSO Launcher stuck extracting client files

I've been trying to install FreeSo for over 12 hrs. First it would get stuck downloading The Sims Online and would tell me at the end that 14 files were missing, upon trying several times to reinstall it went down to 10 files then 9 files etc. Now the launcher is installing FreeSO and is stuck on "Extracting Client Files". Someone please help. I have Windows 10.

How long has it been "stuck" extracting? I think it can take a couple of minutes at most depending on your system.
Anyway, try closing and opening the launcher again (click on the icon in the icon tray, and then exit). Try installing FreeSO then.

Since you already have TSO installed correctly, another option also is to download FreeSO from here: http://beta.freeso.org/dist and extract it into that directory (C:\Program Files\FreeSO\FreeSO), and run the FreeSO installer again (not complete installation, only FreeSO), picking the same folder. It will detect that it is already there.
