FreeSO Open Beta kicks off on January 6th!

Oh god i couldn't be happier!
I've been around on this forum for quite a while. [Not that active but reading the posts every week.]
I cannot wait to relive this awesome master piece!
 
if i was one of you guys that knew about this project for some time idk how i would feel rn, im still trying to contain my excitement

It's been a really long road, and there's no way we would have got this far without your support. Looking at the SimAntics and World Development thread, it's hard to believe it was years ago when I was first working on getting watering plants to work, or the basic idle loop interaction. Only a little while longer til we can bring it back for real. Thanks for playing so far!

All the game features will be included in the Open Beta, or there will be something TODO later...
 
Awesome news, depends what time the server is due to open and such as my timezone is GMT and I may be at work the time server opens.
 
Does casino objects be included in beta release?? those are good for making money, and seems need to be patched.

I believe they will have a donation system. Like any game out there, server cost a handful and everything extra is always added to the tab. Running a full game -- see any game out there have donations. Which helps sustain the game. Not sure if right now you can, but we'll be said in future announcements.
 
Looking forward to it but wondering what time it will be on the Friday, hopefully we find out soon as i'm working a late shift that day
