Game wont even load. Enter login and then game crashes

Installed this like three times. Typed in my login and right when it goes to character select screen i get this super long error message

really want to play this game so I would appreciate some swift, understandable advice on this matter. heres the screenshots

Try switching to OpenGL mode.

that corrected that error message but i am not able to view my sim and as soon as the world comes up the game crashes. i was only able to bypass this once and when i attempted to join pizza sluts it crashed and I couldnt join again.

anytime i try to do anything beyond log in it crashes. repeatedly.
