Game won't play

I have downloaded, installed, added the dist zip and the extra packing slips yet when I click on the freeSO application file I get the error message? It’s in C/programfiles/maxis/thesims online/TSOclient so why won’t it work?

Have you successfully extracted the packingslips into the TSOClient directory?

And replace.

try instead of substituing packing slips files, ignore if it ask to substitute them

after that open as administrator
and your game should work

You don't ignore, you replace those packingslips, make sure that you didn't extract a second packingslips folder into the first packingslip folder.

There's an installer now so no need for a tutorial
