I don't like Android Lollipop anymore, so I've just taken the liberty to root my Nexus 4, install a custom KitKat ROM and I'm calling it a day for the N6 now. I'll only be using it for YouTube and dev work (both apps and ROMs), not for day-to-day activities. I don't want to have to purchase a Nexus 5(X) since they don't have KitKat ROMs around
I'm not going to be using stock because I'm not a complete noob, and I'll instead be using this ROM from the xda-developers forum; I was also surprised to see that close enough to nobody uses Marshmallow, with KitKat actually just taking the lead on the Android distribution chart for Jan 2016:
And, of course, I'll be using the Hellscore kernel so that I can plug in my various USB items using my USB OTG adapter and get the best performance Sure, I'm sacrificing performance, but I've actually found that my Nexus 4 performs better with KitKat than my Nexus 6 with Lollipop (or most recently Marshmallow) and the battery life in Marshmallow is absolute crap.
That + N6 doesn't fit in my pocket well so...
tl;dr google don't know what they're doing to android and doze is shit
