Gray Screen?

Hello,

For some reason i get a gray screen after awhile, the screen will turn gray in 1 to 5 minutes.
Before it gets gray i'm able to do everything.
After it turns gray the game is still running, sound is okay and i'm able to click on everything, even though i can't see what i'm doing.
Video card : Nvidea Geforce GTX 970
Drivers are up to date and i've installed OpenAl 1.1

Anyone has a solution?

I have no idea why this would ever happen. Is your graphics device restarting or something? (crash due to overheat or other)
 
I don't think it would crash, it is quite new and it doesn't crash on other heavier games.
It seems that the game crashes after awhile, without giving me a reason.
Is there a crash report somewhere?
 
Stupid question, but are you overclocking? Does this happen in any other games (heavy or light), and if so at what point?
 
There would be a crash report if it actually crashed. Your graphics device just seems to be giving up.

Can you still interact with the game after it does this?
 
I'm getting a grey screen when I try to connect to other servers, too. Never have had a graphics card issue before!

It's definitely your graphics. I don't think anything serious is going wrong on our side because the game is not crashing. Any noticeable flash of your whole screen the moment before freeso goes gray?

If it's a monogame issue, it may be resolved when they move off off OpenTK in the future. I unfortunately can't do much about this without dedicating time to going through and contributing to monogame.
 
Double JK -- My screen is flashing grey after several minutes of game play, too. Not sure why! Game still running in background, but screen flashing between grey screen and normal screen very quickly, like a strobe light. Now after a minute of that it's all black.
 
Is anyone else getting this who did not get this before? It may be due to a recent monogame update.
 
With new update, compatibility mode reverted, game crashes after several moments again. Just the video. Starts flashing a grey screen super fast, cant record it clearly with screen capture, but I tried with attached video at 1000FPS. Game still runs, no error message, just video crashes and nothing can be clicked or interacted with.

It's got to be a monogame issue. I'm not getting it on either card with NVIDIA Optimus, it may be dedicated only. I'll revert monogame build for the next update.
 
Seems to keep happening, sometimes the game crashes without giving me any reason, and sometimes i get a gray screen.
