Help!!

I can not get the game to play. I am on Win 10. I downloaded the original game. I then downloaded the FreeSO files and put them into TSOClient folder. I then downloaded packingslips and put it in the original packing slips folder. (Not sure if thats where my issue is. Says I dont have an app to open it.) Also, when I find a server where do I put the server address and can someone please recommend a busy server with alot of people please. So want to play this game again. I was one of the original beta testers when the game was first created!!

Have you tried opening the game clicking on the Freeso.exe file in the folder C:/Program Files/Maxis/The Sims Online/TSOClient/?

If you manage to get in you have to type the server in this box:

I think there are only two servers online at this moment: freeso.ml and dennusz95.ddns.net

Thanks but when I click on the exe file I get an entire list of things that it says it cant find. There is such a long list!!

Do you have this file in your packingslips folder? The error says it's missing. uigraphics.xml

You should have only these files in the packingslips folder.

You need to extract them to your The Sims Online/TSOClient/packingslips/ folder manually. Here's the files:

ok there were other files there that i removed. It loaded the game to the create a sim page. Then I got the following message and it shut down

Download this and put it in the TSOClient folder. http://hammerwatch.com/OpenAL32.dll Replace it.

That allowed me to get to the create a sim page. But then I get a different box that pops up.

Also when I get the small box to type in the server nothing happens. Im sorry Im being such a pain

Don't know why people have started linking that random dll instead of the installer. Use this to install OpenAL:
https://www.openal.org/downloads/oalinst.zip

None of this is your fault, it's just the install process is that bad right now.

Thank you That seemed to get rid of the last error box. Now I have to figure out a server and where to type it in at. Thanks again for all your help! I am so glad that someone is working on bringing this back

Yes to get on the game I click on the Freeso.exe file. It takes me through the loading screen and then shows the character screen. Then It shows the mountains and brings up the box you showed in your message above. I have tried both server names and this is what I get.

Not sure if freeso.ml is up. Try freeso.ddns.net.
