Hello all. This may come as a shock to you, but I was a big fan of TSO back when it was still up. (Crazy, right?)
Now, I'll be honest... I wasn't a very pleasant individual back then. I started back in mid-2006 around age 13 and made a complete jerk out of myself in Jolly Pines. I lied, cheated and pretty much treated everyone as lesser beings. A lot of it had to do with issues in my personal life. I had a lot of pent-up emotions that all seemed to spill out onto the internet, TSO included. Unfortunately, the game had long since been shut down by the time I realized how bad I really was, and I have regretted my behavior ever since...
I've been keeping an eye on most of the restoration projects for the past few years, but I only discovered this one a few days ago. I'm amazed and excited to see how far you guys have come and succeeding where others have failed. After jumping from sinking ship to sinking ship (I have bad luck with a lot of games that get shut down as soon as I join. x_x) I was starting to lose hope in MMO's before I came across this project. To discover a TSO restoration that wasn't just still being worked on, but in a semi-playable state and close to a live release sparked an excitement and a sense of curiosity that I thought was lost in the intervening years.
To keep it short, I'm grateful for the hard work being put into this project, and I hope to get the chance to start fresh with a clean slate and eventually become a positive and productive member of the community.
