IP address issues

Well, attempting to join the global server with a friend, I registered an account at her house and now it's not allowing her to register because I took her IP. Is there any way around this other than for her to have a different IP? I feel like I stole her ability to play.

There's no way around this, it's a feature to prevent fraud and over-loading the server.

So basically you're saying it's impossible for me to have an account and play just because my little brother has an account? That's BS.

It's not BS it's a security precaution until methods can be implemented that prevent multi-accounting. If you need to make an account but have messed up someones ability to because of the IP issue- use your cell phone or the internet at a public place. They have different IPs so as long as no one has registered from them before you will both be able to have accounts. Bear in mind if you are caught doing this to multi-account as a single person you will be banned.
