The Login server crashed as I hoped, and I finally managed to track down the bug! :D
For those of you getting back to the Person Selection Screen after creating a character, this is intended behaviour. It happens when the city server experiences an error trying to create a character. Possibly this means that the Login server had already crashed, because the City server relies on it.
 
One bug i found yesterday while creating my sim.

I made a female sim.
if you try browsing between the pages for clothes you cannot switch them with clicking the page number directly.
it only worked if you click a little bit below the numbers.

Highlight it and then click on "End Task" (Lopeta Prosessi - I think that's what it has on your screen :p )

But problem is that it wont shutdown if I don't shutdown my laptop. And yeah most important is to get project doll house to work so I would hear sounds and see the screen.

So glad the bug has been tracked down! :D A few people on FB were concerned that it would not be fixable...
Any ETA on fixing it?

I got it work now o_O.
:p Just need to wait till server is up so I can start to search bugs.
 
I got back in just now but, trying to enter city view I get error flash for a second, and it puts me back at select a sim screen

edit:
I made another sim and got into city view, but when I tried with the sim I made yesterday I get this error

Now my game keeps crashing when Im trying to login!
Started when I once reached city view and decided to shutdown program.

And remember to fix those text bugs. ^^ :D

I would tell you what the error said, but it flashed so fast I barely had time to read the first 2 words LOL

But it was something along the line of "May be under maintenance" (and then reverts back to select a sim page)
When I click on my sim again, nothing happens.
I then X'd out of it and tried logging in again, and it got stuck on the 25% "Attempting EA.COM authorization"

Wish I had more info on that error popup - but I think you will probably get the info once you go into the error reports :)

"This Sim could not be created due to a Server Timeout. The server may be under maintenance, please try again" or something.
wine: Install Mono for Windows to run .NET 2.0 applications.

SkiF: Make sure you've installed XNA 3.1 and .NET Framework 2.0.

Liinor: Text bugs?

RainCloud: The Loginserver crashed last night, so if you couldn't log in with that sim, it means something occured when creating it.

Do you know why our accounts blocks and crashes 75% loading of TSOClient ?

People are just being stupid, expecting everything to work right away. Some people on Facebook were trying to get TSO back by contacting EA. I told them that it wouldn't happen, that just made them mad. So they kept saying this project would not succeed.
This project already succeeded many times over when the servers went online for the first time.
The bug has already been fixed, and the servers are running, but I need some time to restore previously created characters.

Offredo95: You're probably not using the latest version of the client. I released a new installer on Github just now, but please don't log in until I've restored previous characters!

Hey, I most probably have been a dumb bum and missed something out buuuut... just asking how to create an account because I installed the new installer but no way to create an account, i tried downloading the files separately but the link keeps timing out for me, thankyou

*Edit Don't worry realised everyone is making new 'CHARACTERS' not accounts sorry... baby brain >.<


**Edit just realised signing in with my details also gets me in.. stupid me.
