You need to do what Afr0 says. If you don't do your client will crash!

I am on windows 7 x64 I had previous issues with the client same as RHY I followed the above instructions and was able to get the client to work successfully.
 

I installed it to OG TSO folder but it gives me error when im trying to boot it.
Error TSO was not found on your system.
 
liinor: Doesn't seem like you've run the TSO installer? You should, to setup the registry for the client.

I did this too and now have it running successfully. :D
 
I am having the same problem as Rhys, windows 7 64bit. Client runs, i can listen to the music but it crashes and background is white. Did all the stuff, before i move the files to Font directory, client wasn't even running.
 
Just an update, I got it working by manually copying the fonts and effects into the correct folders. I thought it was fixed in the installer as it generated the two folders, however they still weren't populated with anything.
 
So when are we going to be able to finally create an account for the client? Or is there like a pre-made account for the TSO Client
 
This is the screen I'm getting .. and I believe its the correct screen ... Right?

Looks like we are supposed to be un-updated with this game. I was sureee wrong. So what we were supposed to do was

1) Get TSO (Normal trial and not updated *Version 1.1097.1.0*)
2) Get those needed file things like bass.net and stuff installed
3) Get this client and fix the Fonts and Effects folder.
4) Run the client And see that it works,And wait for the Server to go live.

Did you use the latest installer? Hopefully not. I'm going to assume you didn't, because I believe I fixed that issue in the latest installer.

DAMN IT! I made the installer create the directories, but forgot to set the correct output paths.

I have that version, 1.1097.1.0. You think that's the problem? All i did was run the TSO Installer, didn't update it manually.
 
I Installed TSO now and tried but just it keeps crashing when tries to boot Project Dollhouse Client.

 
liinor and pisarz: Try uninstalling, then downloading the latest installer. It should have fixed all the issues that were presented in this thread.
If that doesn't work, all I can think is that you do not have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed - if that's the case, download it.

We're supposed to have that version because theres no way TO update.
 
I m a bit confused... So are we supossed to run TSOClient.exe or Project Dollhouse.exe and is there already a pre-made account so that we can login?
