Lan Party Concerns?

I sometimes have my roommate in game at my house and we build together, I've been using a different internet source (mobile hotspot) to avoid potential issues.
I love this game and I don't want to get banned. I was wondering what the limits are and if I didn't have to worry if this only applied to money lots or something.
 
Try submitting a ticket and telling them about your friend etc.. It's not just for money lots.
