Launcher cannot install The Sims Online

Error: Installation Failed. Problems with connection / network.
I cant download The Sims Online with Launcher. Please Help!

I have the same problem ... I tried to download it four times and I don't know what to do. if anyone can reply i would appreciate it

Tengo el mismo problema ... intenté descargarlo cuatro veces y no sé qué hacer. Si alguien puede responder se lo agradecería.
 
I had that problem and I think it was due to bad internet or something? When I switched to my mobile data it got past that point but now I'm stuck with another problem so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
Hi all,

I just made this account since I was so pumped up to play FreeSO, but I'm currently experiencing the same issue

I don't know if it has something to do with it, but the "builds" section in the Download FreeSO page in the main site isn't working either (I've read that there may be the TSO files required for installation).

I'll keep trying and let you know if it gets fixed (maybe it is a host problem), and thanks in advance if any of the developers (or someone with knowledge about this) shows up to clarify what the matter may be

having the same problem as well! I've reinstalled numerous times and it has yet to work. my internet isn't that terrible so i don't understand why it's not working properly :/
 
I got a notification from the launcher saying, "If you're having issues installing The Sims Online, please update your launcher to 1.7.3 when available (you'll be notified)"
So guess now we just have to wait. :)

Yes, I got the same message, and now the FreeSO download page has a "forbidden" error, so they're probably updating the launcher to 1.7.3, it'll be just a matter of time


EDIT: Currently updating to 1.7.3. The first item in the changelog is "Changed TSO download source", so it should start to work anytime now (In my case I'm still getting the error but it's not immediate like before, now it looks like the installer is actually "trying" to download the files, probably I'm still too early)

EDIT 2: Changed the folder and now it's downloading slowly but surely, thanks guys!

In my case it was solved by changing my WiFi receiver on my pc for a faster one, therefore the problem is the internet, try doing the same or connecting your pc to the wifi router using a network cable (ethernet cable) or if you have one laptop bring it as close as possible to the wifi signal or also connecting it to the wifi router with the network cable
