MAJOR Lag problem

There is server lag and then there is client lag (computer performance not up to spec). Changing your graphics settings in-game can help speed up the performance of your game but not the Global server.

Un-ticking "Anti-Aliasing" usually can help in the graphics options. The three dots on the User Interface will let you access the options which has the computer monitor icon.
