Map too slow

Hello, I downloaded the game a few days ago but even though my pc has the requirements to run the Sims 4 on medium/high graphics, the sims online’s map runs too slow, I can’t go anywhere or select anything. The game runs slow too, I don’t understand why. All the graphics are on low/off. Can anyone help me, please? Thank you. I have windows 7, if that helps.

If you're on Software mode, the game will not be able to render the map at a playable framerate - as it is not using your GPU at all. Since the map is made up of 512*256 individual squares, it's rendering 262144 triangles each frame. On your CPU. That's more than a base sims 4 lot, and there's no way around it.
