There's an excellent starter guide at TSO MAnia

It very neatly covers a lot of things we'd forget to mention so you should start with that and then you can ask more stuff as you go along. If you have discord you can join the FreeSO Discord server (it is listed on the Beta site as "support", but there's a channel for plain ole socializing as well) and post questions there for quicker responses.
 
start by skilling up. body is best because you can do both pizza and code. creativity is also good.
